Following the AGM last Tuesday I've come up with a date for my next Club venture to the Lake District - Friday 20 to Sunday 22 May 2016.

This weekend will be a great one for open canoes, sea kayaks (if an L3 sea is available) and the family.

At the moment I plan to camp at Low Wray Campsite due to its ease of access to Windermere. I have emailed the National Trust who own the campsite to see what options are available to us with regards camping. The last time we were there, June 2009, I recall having glorious weather and camping in their woodland. From what I can gather we now have to book a pitch rather than just turn up, I will confirm this when I hear back from the NT Bookings Team.
