So giving notice that since we haven't been over to Anglesey for a while wondering who would want to catch the last remnants of the summer by having a camp at Rhoscolyn- Outdoor Alternative camp site. If you have never been to this area of Anglesey it is stunning, glorious views over the Snowdonia and Llyn Peninsula, no shops or cafe's just three toilets and two showers.
Plan would be to do some really stunning paddles, look in Kayaking trips around Snowdonia and Anglesey. Would like to do the stacks, Penrhyn Mawr and maybe the Skerries, these are a bit bold trips which I would like to do but are totally dependant upon group ability and weather.
One stunning paddle is the inland sea through Four Mile bridge down the estuary to Rhosneigr then up coast to Rhoscolyn itself. Menai Straits is stunning and exciting as well, the amount of variety is boundless, there are so many options available on Anglesey.
What will you require?
You would need your own camping gear, sleeping bag etc
Food or go to local pub for expensive grub, Indian and Chippy in Fali close by
Sea kayak preferably - club has 12 sea kayaks to hire £10 for the weekend
personal paddling gear
Paddler info forms
fishing gear
Camp site is £7 per night per person and club paddling fee of £5 per day
Sign up on the forum, think I'll be going even if no interest
cheers
